Premise Health Legal Assistant in Brentwood, Tennessee
This position is to provide professional support to the legal department.
Essential Job Functions
Provide administrative support for legal department, including preparing filings, workload tracking, signature tracking, and managing/triaging legal requests
Assist with Copies/Scans/Electronic and Physical Files; Draft Correspondence (various venders, letters, etc.)
Serve as librarian for legal files, and assist with migration to contract management software. Position will serve as software administrator post migration.
Assist with signature approval process flow for contracts and other legal documents
Create and track annual reports and state level filings
Mail (open, sort and distribute to appropriate colleagues)
Serve as an administrator to Contract Management System
May require other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years legal assistant experience in corporate environment.
Proven ability to work effectively in dynamic environment with changing priorities; supporting multiple staff members with varying responsibilities
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required; strong computer skills (including mobile devices, i.e. smartphones and tablet computers); proficiency interacting with databases, working in web based services and technologies. Advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Lexis Nexis as well as high comfortability with contract management systems.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision to multi-task, with strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
Excellent professional level verbal and written communication skills required
